A bioética nas vacinas ARNM e ensaios clínicos contra o SARS-CoV-2

Resumo

O presente estudo tem como objetivo analisar os principais aspectos que se tomaram em consideração para o desenvolvimento da vacina contra o SARS-CoV-2 durante a crise sanitária por COVID-19. Com esta finalidade, se analisará sua incidência nos campos de interesse: a bioética e o direito. De igual forma, aludiremos a uma série de questões referentes aos ensaios clínicos e o respeito aos
princípios bioéticos. Se apresentam casos como as vacinas de ARNm y el uso de métodos alternativos de ensaios clínicos. Com relação à vacina se abordam questões como a aprovação, a obtenção de licenças, os entes reguladores, assim como a importância da ciência e do direito.

Juan Manuel Alba Bermúdez, Universidad de Las Américas (Ecuador)

Profesor titular e investigador en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Las Américas (Quito -Ecuador). Es doctor en Derecho, máster en Derechos Fundamentales con especialidad en Bioderecho, máster en Prácticas Jurídicas y Ejercicio de la Abogacía por el Centro Formación Abogados de Madrid, y máster en Estudios de Derechos Humanos por la Université Catholique de Lyon (Francia). También es miembro del grupo de investigación “Libertades Públicas y Derechos Fundamentales” de la Universidad de Cádiz (España) y miembro del grupo de investigación de JVS.CM Santarem (Portugal).
