Author Biographies

Miguel Molina Díaz, Universidad Internacional del Ecuador

Ecuadorian writer and lawyer. He has a master's degree in Creative Writing in Spanish from New York University, and a graduate of the Master's Degree in Constitutional Law of the University of Valencia. He has written in several Ecuadorian newspapers and magazines. He obtained an Honorable Mention in the 2017 Journalistic Excellence Award from the Inter-American Press Association, in the Opinion category. In 2017 he published his collection of poems Postcards (Jaguar Editorial), in 2020 the non-fiction book Cuaderno de la rain (Dinediciones) and in 2023 the fiction book Bruma (Seix Barral). He is currently director from the School of Law of the International University of Ecuador.

Nicole Galindo Sánchez, Independiente

She has a master's degree in Public Policy from the Hertie School of Governance (Berlin, Germany) and is a lawyer and graduate in International Relations from the San Francisco University of Quito. She is one of the co-founders of the USFQ Law Review magazine and currently leads organizational change projects and leadership with an inclusive approach in LEAD Forward. She has collaborated as a consultant in citizen participation and information technologies with the German Cooperation - GIZ in Ecuador and as zonal director of citizen  participation in the Municipality of Quito.
