Call for Dossier Proposals

The content of Cálamo is organized into four sections: Dossier, Essay, Review, and Interview. The Dossier section includes research articles and academic essays that respond to the current call for papers and are selected for their contribution to the discussions within the thematic areas outlined in the call, their argumentative and methodological rigor, and, preferably, for their analysis at a regional or international level. The thematic areas and the central theme of the Dossier are defined after a selection process involving the proposals received, which are evaluated by the Editorial Board, the Editorial Council, and the Cálamo International Advisory Committee.

The authors of the selected Dossier assume its coordination and may submit articles, essays, reviews, or interviews for the same issue. Those interested in coordinating the next Dossier can consult the guidelines and submit their proposal by July 6, 2026. This Dossier will be included in issue number 27 of Cálamo, to be published in July 2027. Dossier coordination proposals from up to four researchers are welcome, and proposals from diverse countries and institutions are encouraged.
